Kyle Korver traded to Cavs

Big news came out on Thursday. Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported that the Atlanta Hawks have traded 13-year veteran sharpshooter Kyle Korver to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Mo Williams and a heavily protected first round pick. This trade will make the reigning champions even scarier, and they beat their biggest rivals Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day. Although Korver is not the same that he was in 2014-15 when he was an All-Star injury replacement, he can still add a lot to your team. He is still shooting nearly 41% on his three pointers per Basketball-Reference. He is still a amazing three point shooter that you simply can't leave open. His role will be mostly spotting up, and per NBA.com his effective field goal percentage is a nod below 80%. That's just crazy. And to go to a team that has the best player in the league, LeBron James. LeBron passing the ball makes everyone shoot better. TNT posted a stat in their post game show that Channing Frye was shooting about 35% when passed the ball by someone other than LeBron. When Lebron passes the ball? 59% ON THREES. 59% would be an amazing rate for DeAndre Jordan's free throws. But Frye can shoot that from THREE when LeBron passes the ball?. Mo Williams and a protected first rounder is not much for a guy who can shoot over 40% and be average to below average defender. With this move I'm ready to put the Cleveland Cavaliers as the favourites to win the NBA championship this year.
